How we write our guides
SARMs Store publishes research guides on SARMs, peptides, prohormones and food supplement ingredients. This page explains what the guides are for, where the information comes from, how we keep them within the law and how to tell us if something is wrong.
What the guides are for
Each guide summarises what has been published about one compound or topic: what it is, what the studies measured, at what stage the research stands (cell, animal or human trials) and where UK law stands. The aim is to let a reader see the evidence, including its gaps, before buying anything from us or anyone else.
Where the information comes from
- Peer reviewed studies, found through PubMed and journal websites. We aim to name each study with its authors, journal and year, and to link the original where it is available.
- Regulators and official bodies: UK legislation on legislation.gov.uk, the MHRA and the WADA prohibited list.
- Product facts, such as strengths, formats and labelling, from our own specifications.
We do not use forum posts, social media or anecdotes as evidence, and we say plainly when a compound has only animal or cell data.
Research use only
Our products are supplied strictly for laboratory research and are not for human consumption. The guides follow the same rule. They mention the amounts used in a published trial only where that is needed to describe the study, they never give instructions, amounts or schedules for anyone to follow, they make no promises about what a compound will do, and they are not medical advice. Food supplement guides keep to the wording allowed for food supplements in Great Britain.
Checks before publishing
Guides are written and checked by the SARMs Store team. Before a guide is published or revised, each study it names is checked against its source, the legal position is checked against current legislation and guidance, and the wording is checked against our research use policy. Guides are written in UK English.
Updates
We revise a guide when new research is published, when the law or sporting rules change, or when we find an error. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
If you think a guide is wrong, out of date or missing an important study, email sales@sarmsstore.co.uk with the page address and the source you are relying on. We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday, and correct the guide if the source supports it.
