Nate Diaz Tests Positive for SARMS UFC

Nate Diaz, the American professional mixed martial artist, has been cleared of all doping charges by the UFC and USADA. Diaz, who is scheduled to fight against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244, will now compete for the “BMF” belt.

Diaz, a known marijuana user, is not new to controversies. In the past, the UFC fighter was seen lighting up a CBD (cannabidiol) cigarette on stage during a UFC event.

This was after the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) cleared Diaz of any wrongdoing. Diaz was provisionally charged for an Anti-Doping offence after his sample tested positive for a SARM.

It is widely speculated that Diaz tested positive for MK-2866 (Ostarine) and GW-501516 (Cardarine). These performance enhancing supplements are extremely popular with amateur and professional bodybuilders, wrestlers, and power lifters.

In a tweet, UFC President Dana White remarked that the UFC bout between Diaz and Masdival will happen as scheduled. The fight is due on November 2 at MSG.

On October 24, Diaz released a public statement regarding a recent out-of-competition test conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency.

The UFC fighter tested positive for LGD-4033 (Ligandrol) that is usually stacked with Ostarine and Cardarine in a SARMs cycle of 10-16 weeks.

The Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory (SMRTL), a WADA-accredited lab in Salt Lake City, Utah disclosed that two bottles of a vegan, organic, and plant-based daily multivitamin included trace amounts of the SARM.

Ligandrol is the preferred SARM of choice when it comes to SARMs bulking cycles. The use of LGD-4033 is associated with massive improvements in the levels of protein synthesis, muscle mass, muscle size, muscle definition, and nitrogen retention.
