What the Wolverine blend is
The name is a research-market nickname for a single vial containing BPC-157 and TB-500. It exists because the two peptides are the most-read compounds in the animal tissue-repair literature and act by different routes: BPC-157 through growth factor and blood vessel signalling, TB-500 through actin and cell migration. Combining them is a convention of the research supply market, not something that comes from a study.
What the research found
For each peptide separately, see the BPC-157 and TB-500 guides. In short: BPC-157 has rodent tendon, ligament, gut and vessel data from the Zagreb group and no completed human trial; TB-500 is a fragment of thymosin beta-4, which has phase II human wound data as the full protein, while the fragment itself has animal and cell data only.
The combination. No published study, animal or human, tests BPC-157 and TB-500 together. Any claim that the pair is synergistic is an inference from the two mechanisms, not a result. A buyer choosing the blend over the singles is choosing convenience, not evidence.
Stability, storage and handling
Blends carry the storage rules of the least stable component. Supplied lyophilised in a sealed vial. Keep unopened vials at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius or frozen for long storage, away from light. Reconstituted solutions degrade over days to weeks. The certificate should show HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity. For a blend the certificate should show identity and purity for each peptide, not a single figure.
Legal status in the UK, 2026
Neither peptide is a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Neither is a licensed medicine, so the blend cannot be sold or advertised for human use in the UK; supplied strictly for laboratory research. In sport BPC-157 falls under WADA S0 and TB-500 under S2; both prohibited at all times.
What to check before buying
Milligrams of each peptide per vial (not just the total), HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity for each, a batch number matching the certificate, and cold-chain shipping.
