What the KLOW blend is

KLOW is the GLOW blend (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu) with KPV added. KPV is the last three amino acids of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, lysine-proline-valine, which carries the anti-inflammatory activity of the parent hormone without its effect on pigmentation. The K in the name is the KPV.

What KPV research found

Gut inflammation. Dalmasso and colleagues (Gastroenterology, 2008) reported that oral KPV reduced inflammation in two mouse models of colitis, and that the effect ran through the PepT1 transporter in gut cells and reduced NF-kB signalling. Later work delivered KPV in nanoparticles to the mouse colon with similar results.

Skin and other models. KPV has been studied in mouse and cell models of skin inflammation and bacterial infection, with reduced cytokine release reported.

What is missing. No human trial of KPV for any indication. The evidence is entirely mouse and cell data.

The four together

No published study tests KPV with BPC-157, TB-500 or GHK-Cu, or the four as a set. The blend is a research-market construction. Each component's guide sets out its own evidence; the combination has none of its own.

Stability, storage and handling

Keep unopened vials at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light; the GHK-Cu component is sensitive to chelating agents and the peptide components degrade in solution over days to weeks. The certificate should show identity and purity for each of the four peptides.

Legal status in the UK, 2026

None of the four is a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. The blend is not a licensed medicine and cannot be sold or advertised for human use in the UK; supplied strictly for laboratory research. In sport BPC-157 falls under WADA S0 and TB-500 under S2.

What to check before buying

Milligrams of each of the four peptides per vial, HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity for each, a batch number matching the certificate, and cold-chain shipping. Every Origin Peptides batch is independently tested and its certificate of analysis is published on the product page and the Lab Testing page.

Frequently asked questions

What is KPV?

The anti-inflammatory tripeptide fragment of alpha-MSH, studied in mouse colitis and skin models.

Does KPV affect skin pigmentation?

No. That activity sits in a different part of alpha-MSH; KPV was chosen because it lacks it.

Is there a study of the four peptides together?

No.

Is KLOW legal in the UK?

Legal to buy and possess as a research compound; not lawful to sell or advertise for human consumption; two of the four components banned in sport.
