Epistane is a 17 alpha methylated derivative of epitiostanol, a compound that was used in Japan as a treatment for hormone responsive breast cancer. The methyl group at the 17 alpha position is what makes it orally active, because it slows first pass metabolism in the liver. The epithio bridge in the molecule is the structural feature associated in the older pharmacology literature with anti oestrogenic activity, and that is the origin of the description of epistane as a dry compound.
Unlike the SARMs on this site, epistane never went through a modern development programme, so there are no controlled efficacy trials. What the peer reviewed literature does contain is a series of case reports in hepatology and internal medicine journals describing cholestatic liver injury in people who took products sold as epistane, with jaundice, pruritus and markedly raised bilirubin developing over weeks. Several of those reports describe prolonged recovery. This is the most substantial body of published human evidence attached to the compound and it is entirely a safety literature.
Analytical chemists have also published on epistane, principally in doping control journals, characterising its metabolites so that anti doping laboratories can identify it in urine. That work confirms the compound's identity and metabolic fate but says nothing about efficacy. Anyone studying this material should understand that it is a designer steroid with a documented hepatic safety signal and no trial evidence of benefit.

Overall the product does not dissapoint, only thing i have noticed is i cannot sleep if i take it late in the day and sonetimes get a bad headache if taken without food. Highly reccomend for quick gains and fat loss.

Seems to be doing the trick- started off on 20mg a day (2 caps) and going up to 30mg from today so will see how it goes.
